Andreas Karwautz M.D., University Professor, specialist in psychiatry and neurology and child and adolescent neuropsychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapeutic medicine, Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical University of Vienna, Vienna General Hospital; Psychotherapist (GAI / Guided Affective Imagery); head of the Outpatient Clinic for Children and Adolescents with Eating Disorders in the University Hospital of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Vienna General Hospital.

Areas of activity:
Head of the specialized Outpatient Clinic for eating disorders, regular lectures and seminars on Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the eating disorders at Vienna Medical University and the annual educational conferences on "eating disorders and associated disorders" since 2009 held in Vienna. Head of an European research-project concerning risk factors for eating disorders and obesity and head of ÖNB research-project (granted by Founds of the Austrian National Bank) in eating disorders of persons with type-1 diabetes and internal disorders. Co-Head of the study "Mental Health in Austria Teenagers study – MHAT and succeat.at. Member of the consortium of the Horizon2020 project „ICare – Integrating Technology into Mental Health Care Delivery in Europe (www.icare-online.eu). Member and fellow of the "Academy for Eating Disorders" (AED), member of the "Eating Disorders Research Society" (EDRS), member of the "German Society for Eating Disorders" (DGESS). Associate Editor "European Eating Disorders Review", Section Editor Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in "neuropsychiatrie". Vice-president (2012-2014) and President (2014-2016) of the Austrian Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Board member of ESCAP (2015-2019)

Karin Waldherr, MSc, DSc, Clinical and Health Psychologist. Advanced training on the treatment of eating disorders. Since April 2013 program manager of the bachelor program Aging Services Management at the Ferdinand Porsche Distance Learning University of Applied Sciences, Vienna. From 2008 to 2013 key researcher for Evaluation and Research Methods, Ludwig Boltzmann Institute Health Promotion Research (LBIHPR), Vienna, and Deputy Director of the LBIHPR from 2012 to 2013. Member of the Presidium of the " Austrian Network Eating Disorders", Innsbruck. Convenor and chair of the annual International Conference Eating Disorders Alpbach, Austria, together with Günther Rathner. Member of the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) and member of the "Partnership, Chapter and Affiliate Committees" since 2016. Her research foci are on psychometrics and diagnosis of eating disorders, evaluation and implementation research, health promotion, prevention and treatment of eating disorders, obesity and associated disorders, eHealth, as well as overlapping questions. Member of the COST network on Appearance Matters. Member of the consortium and task leader of the stakeholder survey of the Horizon2020 projekt „ICare – Integrating Technology into Mental Health Care Delivery in Europe“ (www.icare-online.eu).
